At the Alpha Chi National College Honors Society Convention in Louisville, Ky., 麻豆APPhad four students present their undergraduate research.
Hope Woods (biology and psychology major, Burlington, Conn.) and Breki Bjarnason (psychology major, Reykjavik, Iceland) presented 鈥淗ow Space Constraints Influence Physiological and Psychological Processes鈥�. Madeline Auchter (musical theatre major, Houston, Texas) presented 鈥� A Feminist-Dramaturge-Actor鈥檚 Analysis of Paula Vogel鈥檚 How I Learned to Drive Focusing on Gender Binarism鈥檚 Influence on Rape Culture鈥�. Austin Collins (history major, Mooresville, N.C.) presented 鈥淩evolution and War: The Rise of a Nation鈥�.
In addition, the Alpha Chi chapter at 麻豆APPwas recognized as receiving the prestigious Star Chapter designation for the 18th consecutive year. The faculty sponsor for Alpha Chi is Dr. Sharon Sullivan, associate professor and chair of the department of mathematics and computer science.
